The 2023 edition of the biennial Dubai Airshow closed with more than USD 100 billion in commercial aircraft orders announced over five days at Al Maktoum International Airport. Emirates placed the headline order for 95 widebodies from Boeing, while flydubai, Royal Jordanian and Ethiopian Airlines also signed fleet expansion deals. On the defence side, unmanned systems and Middle Eastern indigenous programmes drew significant attention. The show confirmed Dubai's continuing role as a global aviation trade hub.
