Israeli startup Eviation flew its nine-passenger all-electric aircraft, Alice, for the first time from Grant County International Airport in Washington state. The prototype stayed airborne for eight minutes and climbed to 3,500 feet. Alice is designed for short-haul commuter and cargo routes, with a target range of 250 nautical miles and a cruise speed of 260 knots. Cape Air and DHL Express are among the airlines and logistics operators that have already placed orders.
